Who are we?

A dedicated team of Registered Dietitians who specialize
in the nutritional well-being of older adults in licensed
care facilities.

Our Commitment

To embrace the unique nutritional needs of seniors and strive to
improve their quality of life in a professional and caring manner.

What is a Registered Dietitian (RD)?

A Registered Dietitian is a health professional with a university
Bachelor of Science Degree in nutrition or equivalent and completed
an approved internship program prior to official registration.

All of our Dietitians are registered in good-standing with the
College of Dietitians of British Columbia.

Our Nutritional Services

Westcoast Dietetics has been catering to the unique needs of
care facilities throughout British Columbia for over two decades.

As your facility's on-site nutrition professional we can provide any or all
of the following services to fit the needs of your facility, residents, and
caregivers:

Nutrition Education Services

— In-service development and facilitation
— Presentations catered to the unique nutrition needs of your resident population and staff

Clinical Nutrition Services

— Preparing nutrition assessments
— Determining therapeutic dietary needs
— Developing individual nutrition care plans
— Participating in interdisciplinary care conferences
— Liaison with the health care team, residents, and their families
— Consulting for policy and procedure development

Food Service Consultation

— Completing menu evaluations
— Strategizing to improve operations and delivery
— Implementing on-site nutrition audit programs
